~ The Early Jurassic ~

The Early (or Lower) Jurassic spanned from 201 million years ago to 174 million years ago. It is subdivided into four stages: the Hettangian stage (201-199 mya), the Sinemurian stage (199-190 mya), the Pliensbachian stage (190-182 mya), and the Toarcian stage (182-174 mya).*
